Tsuki ("the extension") is a browser extension that enhances anime playback on Crunchyroll. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how. In short: Tsuki does not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data to us or any third party. Everything happens on your own device.

What Tsuki stores

Tsuki saves your preferences (auto-skip options, player settings, language, and integration toggles) locally using Chrome's storage. If you choose to connect AniList, your AniList access token is also stored locally so the extension can update your progress. This data stays in your browser and syncs only through your own Chrome account, if you have sync enabled.

What Tsuki does not do

We do not operate any server that receives your data.
We do not collect analytics, tracking, or browsing history.
We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
We do not access your Google identity or email.

Third-party services

Tsuki communicates directly from your browser with a few services, only to provide its features:

Crunchyroll — to read episode data and the public skip markers of the episode you are watching.
AniList (optional) — only if you connect your account, to read airing dates and update your watch progress. Governed by AniList's own privacy policy.
Tsuki Bridge (optional) — a local companion app for Discord Rich Presence. It talks to your local Discord client only; nothing leaves your computer.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed for its features: storage (save your settings), tabs (find the active Crunchyroll tab), identity (AniList sign-in), native messaging (optional Discord companion), and host access to Crunchyroll and AniList. None are used to collect data about you.

Data deletion

All data is local. Removing the extension deletes its stored settings. You can disconnect AniList at any time from the extension's settings, which removes the stored token.
